In the event of a fire or accident, getting people to safety quickly is crucial.

The time it takes to find an emergency exit or fire extinguisher can quite literally be a matter of life or death.

Fortunately you can be well prepared for an accident or evacuation situation if you have the right signage and guiding markers.

The requirements for warning markers are regulated in Swedish Work Environment Authority statute AFS 2008:13, Signs and signals.

According to these, escape routes, fire equipment, first aid equipment and risks must be pointed out. These regulations also specify how signs are to be designed.
